Busy Busy Busy

The month of April this year has come and gone in a blur-travelling with a 7 month old infant will do that to you! We went to Oklahoma to meet up with Lyle's folks and then drove to Kansas to see Lyle for a few days. It was fun to visit but travelling alone with my son was really, REALLY not fun. Actually, the airport and travel to and from there was fine. It was trying to keep a wiggling baby still for 2.5 hrs on a flight that was hell. The entire flight I thought to myself "are we there YET????!!!" ugh. it sucked so bad. Robert left a huge mess on the plane and it was very embarrassing and stressful to try and keep him quiet. I really do not recommend it. he was "good" and didnt really cry...but next time I would like to bring someone with to help. I feel brave for trying it though!!

Next week one of my very best friends is coming to visit and I cannot wait to have some girl time with someone who knows me best and vice versa. Being 1500 miles from family tends to tug at your heartstrings at times and its good to surround yourself with the ones you love.
